Introduction
The Ram Cobra was conceived in the early 1980’s, the chassis being designed by Formula One Designer Adrian Reynard. The Ram is still being further developed today by Cheng Lim of Thunder Road Cars who are considered by many to build the quickest and best handling bespoke Cobras available in Europe. Rams are the only worldwide recreation Cobra to of been granted personal approval by Carroll Shelby. Because of their ability and heritage, Ram’s have become very sort after and collectable Cobra Replicas.
This particular bespoke Ram Cobra was built and maintained to a very high standard and is decaled (removable) as a 1960’s race car but is in fact set up as a fast road car. It benefits from an engine rebuild and upgrade of major components in 2009 as listed in detail below.
This is a very authentic looking Cobra race car recreation and needless to say is a rather rare model with the hardtop which certainly makes for a more versatile car for those trips to Le Mans.
