An excellent example, of the highly desirable BMW GT sports tourer 840 CI Sport, with the same previous owner this last 13 years.

When first released, the BMW 840 was quite innovative and ahead of it's time, and carried quite a considerable price tag to match, with base models starting at nearly £60k before any additional specification. The BMW 8 series  was produced as a flagship and completely new range, and not as many had suggested a 'successor' to the 6 series. The 8 series had considerable gains in terms of performance, and managed to create that beautiful pillar less coupe image, something that hadn't been seen in the American market since the 70's.  

The 840 seen here, used the more reliable 4.4 V8, and managed to produce a healthy 286 bhp, giving it a respectable performance figure of rest to 60 in 6.6 seconds, and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, de-restriced rumored to be 180 mph plus.

It was never intended to be an all out driver's car, but one that could be a fast paced tourer, bringing you safely to your destination in exclusive comfort and unique style. Quite difficult now to get well maintained low mileage examples, this car certainly one of the best available.

Exterior
When you arrive to view this vehicle, it has the overall presence of one that has just rolled off the factory line. The paintwork is simply outstanding, with it's metallic highlighting it's elegant form.This car carries a beautiful sense of occasion, and one that will continue to glean admiration with age.

Interior
Lightly pop open the driver's latch and set yourself inside to find an excellent sports leather interior. This cabin has the overall presence of one that is half it's mileage, and has to be seen to be fully appreciated. It's leather is soft, supple and clean, with the grey carpets fresh under-foot with the trim in excellent health. Normally with age you'd expect to find marks and wear, but not here. Around the steering wheel, the gear stick, in around the door card are all excellent, being a real credit to it's previous owner. An excellent sport's leather interior.

Wheels/tyres
This example has 18" star throw Motorsport wheels that are as new, with healthy tyres all round.
