Original BMW M5 E34 (1991) £7,950

Description
1991 J Reg model in Macau Blue (M Sport dark purple) Metallic with grey half-leather M Sport cloth. Last owner for over 17 years and garaged all it's life. Immaculate condition throughout with only 111k miles with Fully documented Service History file with details of work carried out and old bills, MOT's etc. It was also treated to an engine refresh with BMW heathrow at 57k miles.
It's been used consistantly over the years with old tax discs to prove - it has not been laid-up for long periods of time creating problems with under-usage. Time-warp condition throughout; It looks like new with all original panels and trim, even down to the genuine BMW tool kit, rechargeable torch, first aid kit and spare keys. Even the original delivery wax is still present in the engine bay and there is no rust, no dents (should be seen to be believed) and everything on the car functions as it should.
Immortalised in the 1998 film 'Ronin' The E34 M5 was hand-built, assembled by a single M employee or a team of M employees and was the last M car to be produced in this way. The engines were also built by hand by BMW M engineers, unlike all BMW M models since. Less than 400 E34 M5's of this type were imported and this must be the only one remaining in this standard, original condition.
Standard M5 specification includes original 17" Turbine style 2 piece alloy wheels (these are the original wheels fitted to the 3.6 models, contrary to some reports), Full Trip computer, Electric windows, ABS, Power Steering, Sports seats, Front fog lights, Central locking, a Limited-slip differential (LSD - has just had its oil replaced using later BMW E46 M3 special formula meaning even smoother operation) and the original three-spoke M-Technic II steering wheel. Desirable Factory options include Satin chrome Shadow Line exterior trim, Electric sliding/vent Sunroof, Rear spoiler, Fully Electric Driver and Passenger seats, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Interior light pack, Improved alternator, Headlight Power Wash and wider 9Jx17 rear wheels.
The only nods to modernity are the Cat 1 total closure alarm system & Tracker and the Premium Alpine sound system incorporating Bluetooth and USB port. The originally supplied stereo is included in the sale. When the old exhaust needed renewing it was replaced by a same-sized stainless steel version which will last longer than the original units that are known to corrode. It had completed its last service 1000 miles ago using the correct 10W 60 Mobil 1 racing formula.
This is one of the very best original models left in existence and would be a great addition to any collection in this, BMW M divisions 40th anniversary year. It's a near-concourse condition collector's M5 that deserves to be preserved and enjoyed and it is the best car available on the market today.
A usable, fast, fun, very rare and appreciating classic that drives perfectly and is one of only 100 or-so left only the road (most of which have been interfered with in some way). It truly is the best series 1 E34 M5 on the market and would make a great collectors piece or could of course be used every dar should the new owner so desire - it is a 100% useable modern classic afterall.
