1970 Chevrolet Corvette "LT-1" T-Top Coupe (1970) $49,000
The Stable Ltd.

Description
The “LT-1” is an exciting designation of the C-3 Corvette in anyone’s book. Probably the best all-time small block Corvette engine, it was specially built with solid lifters, special piston rings, chromium wrist pins and connecting rods and 1018 alloy steel crank with 11:1 compression, 370 horsepower and 380 ft. lbs. of torque. The engine red-lines at 6500 rpm and is amazingly impressive when fully utilized. Just 7% of new Corvettes were built with the “LT-1” package in 1970, the most collectible and highest-horsepower year of the series. With removable roof panels and rear window, the “T-Top” design offers open air motoring with the security of a center roof beam. Our car has the 4-speed Muncie transmission and limited slip differential, is finished in original Daytona (#984) Yellow with black interior and tinted glass, is fitted with power steering, power brakes, electric windows, the original AM-FM radio and 15” styled wheels, etc. This is a true “LT-1” which has received a “ground-up” restoration. It is one of four cars which has come to us from a local (Far Hills) collection, is as nice looking from the bottom-up as it is from the top-down, and drives beautifully--a truly prime example of a rare and exciting car!
