To the Ferrari faithful, the introduction of the 1997 550 Maranello was cause for celebration. This car is the performance leader among Ferrari’s "volume" sports cars.
The 550 Maranello marked a return to classic Ferrari form—a berlinetta (coupe) powered by a V12 engine driving the rear wheels.
The company sums up the 550 Maranello as, "Performance at no compromise."
Styled by Pininfarina, the shape of the 550 Maranello is thoroughly modern, yet it incorporates traditional Ferrari styling cues, especially those of the highly acclaimed Daytona coupe of the early 1970s.
This lovely 550 Maranello is a stunning example with very low mileage, it has covered just 19830 km, or 12294 miles. There won't be many around now with this low mileage and great condition.
It is a 2000 car, LHD imported by us from Italy.
The paintwork is Grigio Titanio, in perfect condition of course, and the interior is striking Rosso hide with Rosso carpets and Nero dashboard.
It has the usual 550 spec, which includes:
17" 5 spoke alloys in silver
Nero brake calipers
Scuderia wing shields
Full electric Daytona seats in Rosso with Rosso stitching
Rosso carpets
6 speed manual
Sports button
Traction control
Original Ferrari Becker stereo
Nero rev counter
Drilled alloy pedals
Original Ferrari toolkit and tyre inflator
It has a full service history, all done by Ferrari service agents in Italy, and has just had a service done by them on the 14th of January this year.
Please note, the odometer shows it at 11890 km, but the speedo was replaced by Ferrari at its first service and replaced with a unit reading 0 km. So it has actually covered 19830 km.
We have all the original handbooks, service books and tan leather wallet for the car, as well as 2 sets of keys.
It will of course come fully prepped by our detailing team using the finest Swissvax products.
