Description
1964 / C Reg,
4.7 litre V8,
Registered in the UK since 2004,
2 UK owners,
Silver Smoke Grey Metallic,
Red Leather Interior,
4 Speed Automatic,
MOT to 13 November 2013.
Introduction
The iconic Mustang was first introduced by Ford in April 1964 to an enthusiastic and inspired audience with over 100,000 orders taken in its first 3 months.
The early fastback cars are now extremely desirable with enthusiast owners.
This 289 Fastback is a 1965 model year with a build date of 27 August 1964. It was imported to the UK in 2004 and allocated its first date of registration of 25 September 1964. It has been enjoyed by just 2 UK owners.
It is finished in Silver Smoke Grey Metallic with Red Leather Interior with a list of upgrades and modifications as detailed below. It also had a full professional repaint in October 2008.
We purchased the car from an owner who had a collection of absolutely impeccable cars. The attention to detail bestowed on this Mustang must surely make it one of the nicest available on the current market.
This example however is not just a garage queen as the significant costs of improvements focus on suspension, brakes and power steering making this a Mustang to be enjoyed on the open road.
