NOW SOLD - JAGUAR V8 XJR (X308) (2000) SOLD
Description
WENT THROUGH THE MOT 19 March 2013 WITH NO ADVISORIES.
Very regrettably, I need to sell my pride and joy as it has now been retired from daily use following the purchase of a diesel (new job with much longer commute).
Very highly spec'd in the much sought after colour combination of Pacific Blue with leather Oatmeal interior, it has only 106,000 miles and is in very smart condition inside and out.
First registered March 2000, it is a late nikasil engine which was never exposed to the high sulpher fuel sold in the UK prior to January 2000, so none of the usual concerns there. The timing chains and tensioners have also been replaced so no tensioner worries either.
It also has the rare option of a tilt and slide sunroof, plus headlight washers, Sat Nav, CATS suspension, auto-dimming rear view mirror, electric memory seats, automatic steering wheel positioning, 18" Asteroid alloy wheels, Cruise control, Air con / climate control, Rear parking sensors, 6 disc CD player, auto lights, rain-sensing wipers, rear blinds, cup holders in front centre armrest, extra 12v power supply in luggage compartment, genuine original hard bootliner, full toolkit in engine bay, first aid kit. It has all the manuals and folders and both keys and fobs are present and working.
I am a keen Jaguar enthusiast and bought the car 2 years ago as my daily driver. It has also carried the family on holidays as far as Germany without missing a beat (it truly excelled on the 'unrestricted' autobahns).
This car has a FSH with a large history file. MOT March 2014, taxed to end May 2013. Fastidiously maintained throughout my ownership and everything works on the car as it should.
It is worth mentioning that there is a very shallow scuff mark on the rear seat and I was going to get one of the 'scuff-master' type specialists to look at it but to be honest it stopped being an issue to me.
