By the time this beautiful “facelift” example was being produced, the model had reached its zenith in terms of quality, looks and performance. The chassis improvements heralded the DB7 and the interior improvements maximized comfort. The 6 litre V12 engine gave increased performance, but with improved fuel consumption due to the HE head and very high gearing, the latter conferring relaxed high speed cruising ability. The auto gearbox is 4-speed rather than the earlier 3-speed.
This example has had 3 owners who have really looked after the car. This is demonstrated by the service history with 15 stamps in the book. For the last few years it was living quietly and being under-used, so has reluctantly been put up for sale. It wears what is in our opinion one of the most attractive paint colours - Flamenco Red - with Cream leather interior in superb condition. Burr Walnut trims complete the picture. Switchable sport suspension and stainless exhaust are among the standard features on this car. The original sales brochure and price list have been retained in the car’s document file.
