Description
CHEVROLET- BEL AIR 1956 2 Door Coupe, Tahitian blue and silver metallic; Reg. No. 681 UXR; Aquatic Blue Velour Interior; Covered 4,750 miles since a 100 point concourse restoration/conversion; Pristine condition inside, outside and underneath.
Originally rebuilt in the States to concourse standards regardless of cost, sold to Barret Jackson auctions in 2005 and was imported into the UK, costing the new owner in excess of £117,000.
A quote from the New Jersey post, who interviewed Craig Ludwick, a body shop Director and the man responsible for the restoration/conversion said the car was a throwback to Happy Days and probably the nicest American restoration he had ever seen.
