Description

Lotus Elan Sprint FHC, 1972 (December).  Road Tax exempt.  Very rare in Tawny Bronze metallic.  Only about 30 cars left the factory in this colour.  Very contemporary colour now, as Lotus have re-introduced this hue and named it "Autumn Bronze".    Very much a Seventies colour scheme and still looks brilliant today!   Many modern car manufacturers have recently introduced this colour to their range and shows how fashions change and come back into vogue again eventually.   Registered on 12th December, 1972 and supplied by the Newcastle dealers Ellis Moor.  The interior is both original and in excellent order and commensurate with the relatively low mileage of 71,600.  Original Colin Chapman steering wheel.   Factory heated rear screen optional extra.   Some extra gauges are fitted to the radio housing area on the dashboard and are period and in keeping with the rest of the car.  Original Big-Valve Twin-Cam engine which is very sweet indeed and the vehicle comes with a fresh MOT and 12 months free road tax!
