Black with Beige leather, 1250cc XPAG engine, 4-speed manual, This delightful TC is was apparently given by doting parents to a young lady as a present to celebrate her graduation from university in 1948. She subsequently drove it for several years on the roads of the UK and it later accompanied her when she relocated to the United States. An officially numbered and dated label which is attached to the windscreen shows that the car was apparently being used in the New Jersey area during the spring of 1969. Sometime during the 1970's the TC was repatriated to the UK where it was to spend a further 40 years of its life housed in a dry but otherwise undisturbed garage. Chassis TC6851 is complete and “as found” TC offering a new owner a rare opportunity to re-commission an original un-restored example.
