MG RV8 (1998) £21,995
Fine and Classic
- Location: Bristol, United Kingdom
Description
Fine and Classic is proud to present for sale this stunning MGRV8, a genuine British car, 1 of 307 sold in the UK – this is not a Japanese re-import. The RV8 was manufactured by Rover Group between 1993 and 1995 ...
The RV8 boasts the installation of the excellent Rover V8 engine in 4 litre form, endowing the car with an urgent performance. The RV8 also enjoys improved suspension and brakes, reworked from the original MGB layout - The RV8 was based loosely on the original MGB, the only common panels being the doors and boot lid. Of the 2,000 RV8s produced, the majority were exported to Japan.
This car, in rare Oxford Blue, has an unmarked cream leather and wood interior, with a very rare lined soft top. Complete with the original handbooks, workshop manuals and tool roll, this is a fine example of the reincarnation of the classic MGB - how the ‘B’ should have been developed when in full production in the 1970’s!
Vehicle history: A very comprehensive history file with all MOT certificates and receipts for maintenance etc, with a fully stamped up service book. This car has only 2 previous owners, the last owner had the car in his care for ten years and ensured it was maintained to its current high standard, but reluctantly had to sell the car due to ill health.
