911 PORSCHE - 993 3.8lt RS Spec (1996)
The base car was a mint 993 Varioram Carrera 2 that has been meticulously rebuilt inside, outside and mechanically to offer the ultimate 993 RS experience.
An original 993 RS in this condition would now be valued between £250-300k, which although may deliver authenticity on paper, this comes at a cost that is not only almost 400% more, yet with a driving experience is not any better. In fact, due to the power and refined set up of this car the actual driving experience of an original RS is arguably not as rewarding as this car.
The car features a 'fully' rebuilt and upgraded 3.8lt engine that produces 333bhp and is a work of art in itself and an event to start - every time. Covered less than 7,000 miles.
Rare Schwartz Black Metallic finish

This car, which is basically as close as you could get to an original 993 RS (except the cost!), is in beautiful condition and any inspection is welcome. I'm 'very' fussy about my cars and they are always kept in this condition - cosmetically and mechanically. The car is only driven in the dry and garaged all year round.
To set into this car feels like someone has pressed the re-set button and made it factory fresh again, only 10x better. If you've ever dreamt of what a new 993 would feel and smell like than this is it!
Having owned a total of 6 993s, and 9 Porsches in the past I can assure any enthusiast that this car is among the best in the country, if not the world. It drives, feels and even smells like a new car in every way; from the interior to the drive. I have found this car the most fun and rewarding to drive of them all by some margin, in fact any standard 993 quite literally feels old, dated and to be honest second rate in comparison to this car, and I say that as an avid 993 enthusiast and prolific owner.
You simply cannot compare it to a standard 993, it's in a league of its own, and would likely blitz an original RS in a head to head.
Given the prices of original RS's are now so high this car is great value. To be honest I personally would not have the courage to buy and drive an original as they are now firmly in the investment side of the garage and not the enjoyment side. This car offers the ultimate 993 experience.
As you can imagine, a fortune has been spent on this car, with a comprehensive file included with all receipts running at over £100,000. In fact, to re-create this car today you would be looking at circa £140,000 to reproduce it.
The original donor car was an amazing original example in it's own right and was featured in a couple of 911 magazine features (copies of the mags included with the car).
Please note that the cherished number plate (P99 RSR) is not included with the sale, however can be purchased separately by negotiation.
