This Car..
Simply flawless classic late Turbo model in timewarp condition
the likes of which are becoming highly collectable amongst
those in the know. A particularly well specced example,
Sunroof delete with Air con!!!, Sports deep bolster chairs, D'90
Alloys, ClubSport steering wheel.. the list goes on.
Mechanically standard, it has never been interfered with and
performs the exact way Porsche intended it to.
The Drive..
The originality of this car is mind blowing. The classic lines
of this model are complimented with factory D'90 wheels & Sport
suspension crucial to the not only the ride and road compliance
but also the aggressive poise. To this end it is an excellent
introduction and climax to the world of Porsche Turbocharging,
this vehicle will accelerate to 60 in over 5 seconds and push
on past a lot more than you or I dare ever take it. In terms
of todays sports car performance it is still a lot more capable
than many may expect and twice the fun.

My Car..
This has been my own personal toy car. It's no secret that
Buchanan Motors have had scores of 944's through our hands in
the last years. Truth is, the model is one of our favorite cars
of all time. Nothing else comes close to the experience of driving
a good 944. This one, is the very very best of the best timewarp
special. It was destined to nestle in the corner of our garage,
appreciating happily. A proper garage queen. As close to a new 944
Turbo as you are likely to find, box fresh and complete.
Provenance aplenty too- only 4 former keepers, every MoT
certificate since new, a complete history file dating since day
one, even a collection of tax discs dating back years.. In essence,
it is THE complete package that would satisfy even the most
discerning neurotic collector. From the keys to the cabin, top to
toe, there is zero wear about this 944. Kept this way for years to
come, and given the expediated direction the values are realising,
it's safe to say this 944 represents a better investment than its
own weight in fine 24k Gold- and who is to say Gold will keep
rising anyway? Massive show stopping potential on offer, mere
concours would be an understatement..

Mechanically..
Exemplary, fully tried & tested with documented cambelt change in
2010. Covered less than 1000 miles since its' last service. Zero
advisories on the current MoT.
Drives like new with punch and class leading suspension that is
still wonderful all these years later, all in a very comfortable
touring car. Absolutely tip top 100% Porsche perfection. To create
a picture- under the bonnet looks like a clean two year old car,
take a glance underneath and the yellow shocks are spotless clean.
It sat covered for 6 weeks and started instantly with a fast
enthusiastic spin from the starter and burst into life within a
fraction of a second without even so much of a wisp of smoke from
the tail. Tight with a new car feel, the low mileage is fully
warranted. No silly alarms or immobilisers to flatten your battery
either.
Body..
Aside little professional remedial paintwork to remove inevitable
chips from the nose, all body and paintwork appears to be original
Porsche. The color is classic Porsche Alpine white and really
gleams with no marks to note though you will find it reassuring to
expect and find the odd stone chip. Window rubbers and all black
trim exude low mileage and youth. Totally free from any corrosion.
Pristine immaculate in all door shuts and extremities, under the
boot floor, engine bay, inside the arches. Bridge spoiler.
Sunroof delete is a special order and is the icing on the cake.
Vehicle is an utter joy.

Wheels..
Immaculate stock Design '90 Alloy wheels with zero marks to note.
All four in pristine order with correct size 225/50/16's upfront and
wide 245/45/16's on the rear, just as Porsche intended. Tyres are all
healthy with deep treads. Lovely.
Climb Aboard..
The cabin has no significant wear to note. Metropole blue leather
deep bolster Sport chairs, dashboard, gaiter and door cards all
in Metropole (which is a very dark navy blue for the unacquainted).
Dashboard looks and feels like it would have when new. Carpets
and mats still attain their deep pile and have a new appearance.
Driver and passenger chairs both have electric functions, all
directions working, central locks and windows all flawless. Sunroof
deleted. To be hyper critical, the driver bolster has minimal wear
but certainly not to any degree of significance, whereas all else
is like new...which brings us to the ClubSport wheel, a genuine
Porsche hand stitched item with embossed crested horn, again this
is brand new. The clock has done it's usual half-moon breakdown
thing but can still be read and it's stop watch functions too. The
luggage cover is present working properly. Again, an utter joy.
All driving controls have a new car feel- clunk click. Smell of
today, not yesteryear. I need to stop now.. I'll end up changing my
mind and keeping it.

Service History..
The service booklet is present within the complete drivers
information pack and contains no less than 15 service stamps-
consider it has only 69,000 miles so in effect, over serviced
-which is can only be great news. The last service only 1000
miles ago. The timing belt was last changed July 2010, a mere
2000 miles ago. Every mot certificate since 1993 (thats the
first one). A comprehensive file of paperwork and invoices
detailing service expenditure since day one. A note of the
details of each keeper logged in the service booklet. A bundle
of tax discs dating back 13years. Service record could not be
more complete. Still has supplying dealer keyrings!
