These cars are getting quite rare as from the the limited run of production many have been exported to Europe and more are being actively sought. The reason these cars carry a premium besides the obvious rarity is the fact the UK Spec's are compliant to European standards (ECoC) and they offer straight forward registration in European countries such as France Norway plus many more. Also for the UK customers these are an attractive investment as this intial premium will be returned due to lower insurance costs (as opposed the the JDM model) and obviously the resale value of these cars is certain to stay quite high if not increase in the future.
