It is with great regret that I am selling this beautiful example of a classic 5lt Griffith that I have owned and meticulously cared for since July 2003, during my 10 years of ownership I have replaced and upgraded the following parts:-
I had the engine rebuilt to a high spec by V8 Developments, a well known and respected RV8 specialist to the following spec,
Top hats linered cross bolted block
Matching 45mm ported inlet manifold & heads
45mm flared trumpets
This car is an absolute dream to drive with no shunting at 25/30 mph and pulls from below a 1000k in 5th.
I have also removed the precats from the exhaust manifolds to reduce under bonnet temperatures, (this has no effect on MOT test emissions).

Headlamp full power kit + main beam and spot lights relayed to work together
Last 100 LE 7” Headlamp upgrade & no longer driving on two candles (see above)
New Front and nearly new Rear Screen
Chassis/Out Riggers/Wishbones all in very good condition and not wax oiled thus hiding any potential problems, the car has always been garaged in my ownership and only ever had light “winter” usage and never on salted roads
This is an exceptionally well looked after classic (subtly upgraded) very fast Griff 500 that performs in excess of factory claims.
The car has been driven by Steve Guglielmi (Gugliemi Motorsport)
who commented that it was a very well set up fast car.
Has a very small hole in the flexi pipe on the exhaust (temporary repair that’s held for a year) that will need doing at some stage. A few small cracks on the wooden dash but it is not de-laminating so not that noticeable.
This car has been cared for and maintained by a TVR enthusiast, and hopes that its new owner would look after the car in the same manner. I have various Oil/Plugs/Filter/Fluid receipts but not all. I can assure you that this car has had much love and care and has been maintained to a standard way above TVR recommended servicing.
