FINAL PRICE REDUCTION BEFORE I KEEP IT TO ENJOY FOR THE SUMMER
Recently had a major 12k service with tappets checked and no adjustment necessary, plus fresh MOT with no advisories.
This is a very rare TVR Tamora with the sought after T350 front end conversion and a few other choice upgrades.  It was first registered on 24/12/2002 so was a very nice Christmas present for someone!  Works carried out to my knowledge are as follows:
2008 - T350 front end added by Dave Hillis (well known in the TVR community as ‘Plastic Man’).  Also added new at this time were a race spec alloy radiator, front light clusters, two front alloy wheels to replaced scuffed originals, and Gaz adjustable shock absorbers, along with full body re-spray in its original Red Bull Blue.
2009 - Full engine rebuild using all new components including TVR Power cylinder head with uprated valves, springs and cams, timing chain and gears, race crank bearings, piston rings, seals and gaskets etc.  This work was undertaken in Blackpool by an ex-TVR mechanic who worked on the race and development team.
2010 - All new fuel injectors from TVR Power.
2013 - New hood with narrower rear screen (avoids creasing of the screen causing damage) fitted.
2013 - Seats sent to DC Trim at the old TVR factory to be re-trimmed to a high standard with diamond stitch finish, and with the addition of heated seat elements.
2013 - Bluetooth (phone) and iPod enabled head unit fitted along with new speakers and dash mounted tweeters.
2015 - Gearbox rebuilt by AW-D Motorsport (race mechanic) to fix stubborn fifth gear selection.
2015 - Two new keys to replace the very tatty originals.
2015 - Sent to TVR101 for a new clutch slave cylinder, new engine mounts, complete new silicone cooling hoses, radiator refurb, new steering rack, new rear disks and pads, single wheel refurb, complete new weather seal kit, uprated 125amp fuse, new door/boot control unit, and new oil pressure sensor.
2016 - Sent to Addspeed Performance Cars for new uprated 322mm diameter front disks and pads, and window mechanisms were stripped and greased for smoother running.
Although rated as a Cat D, there is absolutely nothing to suggest this was ever the case (other than the V5), the damage was purely cosmetic, and was professionally repaired to a high standard.  I selected this car over three other Tamoras that I viewed, none of which were Cat D, and none of which were of the cosmetic standard of this car.  The car has done about 54k miles (rising slowly) and so demonstrates the car’s mechanical reliability over the years.
I bought the car in June of 2015 having had it independently assessed.  I immediately had a more in depth assessment done by TVR101, and acted on their recommendation to get a lot of mainly preventative work done to give me peace of mind.  In my ownership the car has always been garaged, the warmup routine has always been followed, only ever driven in teh dry, only ever had high octane fuel, and it has been 100% reliable.
Although this is my dream ‘affordable’ fun car, I just don’t get to enjoy it enough to justify having it.  Due to a young family, pleasure drives are few and far between and I only really get to bring it out for my 14 mile commute when the weather is good.  By the time it is up to temperature and ready to be fully enjoyed, the flowing A and B roads have passed and I am sat in traffic.  Highly frustrating to say the least!
So, the opportunity is there for someone else to love this unique Tamora which wants for very little (perhaps a shock absorber refurb, some bushes, and a simple re-dying of the carpet in the medium term).
Available for viewing most evenings and weekends in Horsham, West Sussex.  Test drives will only be offered on production of suitable insurance documents and only if I feel comfortable handing over the keys having met you.
Part exchange:I will consider anything...but no guarantees I'll take it.
