He has been told many times before that this forum is linked to CLASSIC and SPORTS Car magazine, but usually replies with something about running a Portugese webforum and it is all a matter of opinion and maybe one day a Fiesta may be classic too.

I too wondered if the time taken in photographing, and uplodaing so many photos (does anyone need five views of a rusty Transit?) could be put to better use but he keeps on going.

I found it best to just ignore and not bother looking, but I keep sneaking back just in case. He did actually tell a story of a Pegaso in the Lisbon museum though, but no photos.

See? Not classic, not sports, not worth restoring and you'd be lucky if it even yielded a few spares, and in a field, not a barn. I think he only does it to annoy the rest of us.

I once found one of these NSU cars with a totally exploded engine , the car was in excellent shape in all respects so I decided it was a good candidate to have some fun with and grafted in a complete engine/transmission and drive shafts from a Chevrolet  air-cooled flat 6 cyl Corvair, not just the plain old stock one, but a  genuine  factory  TURBO special`. The result was an absolute disaster , it was virtually undrivable under any circumstances,  too much throttle and it did wheelies, on corners it would spin out into a series of dough-nuts, front brakes locked up all the time, consequently I chopped it up before someone got hurt.  Dangerous toys !! If you remember the famous American politicion Ralph Nader he wrote a book about the the CORVAIR being so unsafe he built a national safety campaign on the strength of`his opinions. My NSU was worse.````

Just in case my reply to the saga of the dead or dieing NSU brought to us by the kind efforts of the oversea representative for Portugal  ,regarding the heart transplant  from a Chevrolet Corvair , I incorrectly assumed that because of their similarity in design they would be compatible and get on well together , unfortunately that was not so, the heart was rejected causing the little one to become very unstable and I had to put it down !! see what is claimed to be the worlds most dangerous car by Ralph Nader ( one of America's crazy consultant's to the Gov't)
