Best classics for front legroom

I am 6'3'' and find that I struggle with the legroom in many cars, whether modern or classic. I've owned an RR Silver Shadow II & Bentley Mulsanne long wheelbase, but even in these the legroom wasn't great.
I'm wondering if American cars are better than British in this respect. I have a wide taste in vehicles and would consider anything from the 1930s to 1970s (or even more recent if a luxury vehicle), probably up to say £15k pricewise.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful for them ...
