I'm thinking about uploading some of the best feature articles and car tests that have ever been in C&SC on to the website to preserve them for future generations... and to provide some enjoyable reading for current generations.

So, that made me wonder what the best articles we have ever had in the magazine are. I have my own favourites, obviously, but I am probably a bit too close to it. So what would you most like to see digitised?

I can't promise everything you vote for will get uploaded but I can promise all will be considered.

James

As far as I can remember the 30th aniversary issue was fabulous, but chose the "best feature article" its a difficult task

There are a lot good articles about cars, life tales, industry history etc, fabulous pics about cars and roads...

Probably I will pick-up one from Mr Buckley, with references to GT  Man and life in suburbia or the report of the CSC team las trip to Le Mans Classic.

My favourite car test was "Fab Four" way back in February 1987 between the Iso Lele, Maserati Indy, Ferrari 365GT4 2+2 and the Lamborghini  Espada Series 2. I have returned to those six pages many times (thank you so much, Richard Sutton) over the years when looking for a little bit of classic escapism in the same way I love to return to a book by Jeremey Sinek called Supercars of the Seventies.  A good test makes you feel like you've stepped into the passenger seat and are along for the ride and I feel that way when recalling this particular piece.

Excellent article back in 2003,  August issue , featuring a 1964 Ford Mustang," Highway to Heaven".  Inspired writing by Paul Hardiman and stunning photographs by Tony Baker.

Found a good one which deserves recognition.
The Ferrari Dino cover story, November 1999. Words by Paul Hardiman and photos by Andrew Yeadon.
A yellow chairs and flares specs at £70,000 and a sound 246 GT at £40.000? Not time for regrets now.
