In response to Alastair's request  in the January 2012 C&SC issue Editorial for 'corkers that we've missed' :

Good call. That was a stunning shot, as much about how to enjoy the cars as about the cars themselves. Will try and post it here tomorrow.

Probably not one of the all time greats, but I thought the December issue was worth it just for the shot of Simon Taylor sliding the Stovebolt at Bo'ness.

nice photo, but not a great photo (in my point of view, of course)

the other one reflects the greatness of the good rides, is well balanced and at the same give a strong movement feeling

Yes, that one. It is not a truly geat photo, but every time I look at it I smile at the thought of that old racing car being used and abused as it is. Somehow it just sums up the power and purpose of the beast.
