Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Tex it is a Jowett Jupitor, from the 1950s
A sports tourer based on the Jowett Javelin Saloon, one of the first post WW2 saloons made.
Advanced in its day, both cars with Flat four boxer engines,
Saloon could do 80 MPH the 2 seate around 90.However the later was in the same price bracket as Jagars XKs and so was not a big seller, quirky but of high interest now
the firm was equally well known for its bread and butter flat twin Bradford Vans ,that took their name from the Northern Town where they were produced, but were out of preduction by the time the Jupitor was introduced..
Hope that is of Help,
Thank you kindly. I just can't get over that front end.
This chap seems equally intrigued.
I am hoping someone out there may be able to help me - I am looking for a particular door handle for a project i am working on - can anyone tell me if there is a car out there that has a similar style door handle to this that would be a good substitute? Hope you can help
