There's been too much scull duggery and backstabbing on this forum. I joined to learn about classic cars and not get involved in username and personal squabbles.

I'm far from perfect, however, like to think I'm a pretty honest person. Nevertheless I'm fed-up with all the oneupmanship.

My name is Richard Hickmott and would like to acknowledge the help given on Triumphs.

Good luck, pp

Please explain. Skullduggery? That is only coming from one source, and as most of us have been aware of Gav's games for a while, does it really matter? He has a need to talk to himself online, but that can be ignored. Unless you are another of his names, why would the recent posts asking him to desist affect you? And backstabbing? That term usually means someone secretly doing something devious to someone else, where from what I see all has been out in the open here. If you are not one of Gav's characters then you are not involved in "username or personal squabbles" anyway. And where is the "oneupmanship" you mention? So, why not ignore all the rest and just talk about Triumphs?

Missing the point there Gav. The concensus was that GBt is still wanted on here even if some don't understand everything he posts. It is his other names that are surplus to requirements. Your threatening to leave rings a bit hollow, when we know very well that you will only be back even more under other names to keep stirring the pot. It's rather like your other tantrum about cancelling your subscription to to C&SC magazine just because the forum wasn't all about you. Nobody believed you then either. Grow up, pack in the games, and say what you have to say as GBt.

Yes Mr Martin, I very much doubt having been taken to Colchester General by Ambulance, at around 8.0AM, being wired up in A&E, being seen by three doctors before being transferred to an Observation ward and seing another 2, and mutually  deciding I would try this to go home at around 20.30, finally, that being to reduce one pill for blood pressure and to replace another for dizzzyness and double vision, which I suffer from with you 2 for ones anyway,

that I would really be likely if I had had at that time and any equipment for said to be thinking of posting as Mr Totty, so I would keep your royal WEES to the I used to be a Greasemonkey, Spanner and Spammeran departments and cuddly little Jango icons, to make the Leopard with no different spots look a little more user (as opposed to abuser friendly) within that thick skull and the half brain cell that thinks up all that garbage.

Well a couple of days ago you said you were leaving (ok, you didn't say exactly when), and now you're back for another rant. So, which is it to be? I do sympathise though, I am in a similar mood, so to paraphrase The Clash - "Should I Stay Or Should I Go?".

Or to paraphrase Will Young, "Leave Right Now".

Forum Admin, (if there is such a thing), this guy is laughing at you.

Taking the p*ss might be more to the point.

Call his bluff.

Unless you find a way to stop his continous rubbish posts, whether as swordfish, Fergal O'Fish, borismobile, speedangel, Horris Motors, petrolhead, diplomat, mrtotty or even GBt (or any others I have overlooked), you have once and for all lost control, and will lose all credibility too..

My absolute final post until I see something done about it !

Your choice.

Chris M.

And hey, look, I am not even afraid to sign my own name to my posts, unlike some........

Hi Chris Martin (or shall I say Duessie or maybe Grease Monkey?! Writing style very similar in my opinion, but that's only my opinion, maybe I am also mistaken)

I think you are very much mistaken. I only have one username on this website  (Speedangel) and I have no intention of changing it nor creating a new one. I am not sure what you are trying to do here, but hey, I am not too bothered to be honest. FYI and since you really want to know, my real name is Jean-Michel, living in London. If you really want to be sure about it, I would not mind giving you my mobile number so we can discuss further.

With kindest regards

Jean-Michel (hey, look: I can also sign my real name)

P.S: this is a forum,
