Is E-type fatigue setting in yet?
Wow love those wheels.I remember in the 70`s G H Nolsan the Jaguar parts supplier in London having a Dragster E-type special similar to The
burgandy one pictured. It was on the Dragster scene for many years called The Meth drinker, does it survive today.Would love to hear from anyone
on it`s whereabouts?

God, my eyes!
Talking of E-types in 1977 I bought a early flat floor roadster from Bob Kerr, who lived in Luss Scotland,£300 it was a rolling shell missing it`s bonnet, engine and gearbox and glass.I was approached by a television company who wanted a cheap car to paint and use a s mock car for
the TV series the Professionals starring Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw, recently this series has been shown on ITV 4,the story is about a special security arms that gets stolen.Great car chase with a Porsche 911 S and a E-type V12,the E-type gets it`s brake pipes cut and in the chase crashes and catches on fire it`s the mock up car that then is shown .I was told the producers used a flame thrower from a helicopter. The chassis number 850167,does it still survive today.?
Jagnut 12 seen sitting in 77 RW.In 1967 aged of 12 when pocket money stretched to buying Autosport I saw the car advertised in the classified
pages,I did ask my dad if he would buy it for me and I would pay him back when I started to earn a wage!!,so the chance of sitting in the car was a dream come true!

Jagnut12 in 1977 admires chassis number 18,the car then owned.Check out the cool flares!
E-Type fatigue was certainly setting-in at the Silverstone Classic last Saturday.
If you have ever watched Hitchock's film "The Birds" and try to imagine E-Types in place of birds you will get what I mean. I tried to capture a bit of the atmosphere on a video ....
Maybe I'd sooner have this
and certainly this

I'm ashamed to admit I've never even sat in an E-Type. Non sequitur.
Nor had that Cocker Spaniel
Received my Oct issue today here in KY. I tried to explain to my wife how cool the E-Type the 44 page insert booklet was and she got this glazed over look on her face. It was similar to the face I think I get when she shows me shoes she just bought. Keep up the stellar work.
