Is the BMW e21 a "classic"?
I posted a new blog about the BMW e21, www.vintageandclassiccar.blogspot.com , interviewing my good buddy and eurometric.com owner Jesse Nemec. Check out the blog and let me know if you think the e21 should qualify as vintage or classic. I saw in my Ferrari issue of C&SC that the next issue has some similar vintage BMWs so I guess I know where their vote is ;) Heck, you guys in England probably already have that issue. I've noticed there's a bit of a lag ha.Looking forward to the discussion! And for that guys that hijacked my thread last time just to talk about the legality of the photos I use from the internet (even though I don't make money), I didn't want that to happen again so all the photos are either from Jesse's personal stock or licensed for use (and proper credit given). Maybe we can talk car this time :) I'm just giving him a bit of a hard time, he was probably right but who likes being called out?Isaiah
Interesting little article, thanks for posting.
I guess there'll always be many different opinions on what's a 'Classic'.
As for the E21? I could certainly live with the idea it's a 'classic'. Although I'd probably go with 'modern classic' or 'youngtimer'.
More to the point, in my book they're certainly worth preserving and enjoying.
I'd agree with you. Cleaned up theyre nice little cars and it sounds like they drive well.
