More Citroens...

The SM, Mr Opron masterpiece, with reputation ruined by an italian engine...

Two commercial vehicules, the famous HY "pig nose". An early series with split window at the front, from Spanish Michelin distribuitor...

...and later one, this timea french fire truck...

Another french fire truck based on the Citroen Drouville...

And thats all my Citroens. The family photos (The CX Pallas is a later aquisition, so is not in the group photos)...

Berlinas...

Rally cars...

And commercial vehicules...

Before the next set of models a car with no direct relatives on my shelf, but with some kind of connection with Citroen, the Panhard 24. One of my favorite shapes ever, the last model of that old french brand, it's a  pity that Citroen never give it the engine it deserves.

Next series: American cars (all brands)

Nice Fordor V8 Taxi, (speaking as ' some Cartoonist with a few Toy cars) only, rare scale classic models- to everyone else. this will be bang on target, however better keep a few of those fire engines on stand by when "Those Toys" inflame the sensibilities of another.

Somewhere in a dust-laden box I have the James Bond silver Aston. Amongst its many features are the ejector seat, revolving number plates, opening bonnet and I think... if you press down on the fron suspension it fires bullets (matchsticks, actually), and likewise the rear end. Also I have, probably the same box, Lady Penelope's pink roller with Parker driving and a slippery slidey roof. If only I'd kept the boxes they'd be worth a few bob now... Doh!

I've been following this thread for a while - it's right up my street, and I'm annoyed that I'm unable to upload some pics of my own. I've got loads of 1/43 scale models in the attic (some damaged), but I'd love to share them. Whilst there are a lot of modern cars, some of the best are my old Alfas. I've got loads of those! I've also got some classic Le Mans cars, such as the Ford GT40, Porsche 917 and Toyota GT-ONE. The Hillman Imp police car with 'Renfrew & Bute Constabulary' detailing would probably appeal to a lot of you as well, but I doubt the 'Devon & Cornwall Police' Sierra will get the same reaction!
