I am sorting through Photos as we are moving and ironically the Espirit belonged to a guy who helped us with our last move 8.5 years ago so these pics are from the Clacton Show that year 2005-he was busy rebuilding the original 4 pot Turbo but had fitted a Rover V8 in the interim, seen here of course with a Ferrari 308 and a TR6

A few more from the CMC Classic show, Sydney, August 18th.

some Kombis out in the sun,

Studebaker Avanti - one of my favourite shapes ever,

and a '32 Ford Roadster that escaped being a hot-rod.

and a classy '30s Packard.

Another view of Packards at the same show;

and an old Sydney bus was giving rides around the race track - not as far as Bondi though.

Went to check out some nice cars at a local show at Kiama NSW and found these two Mustangs.  Quite nice too, but then I noticed what is parked behind.  Could this explain Nuno's recent absence from this forum?  Is he on a driving tour of Australia?

Early this year I was driving the 450 SLC up a mountain pass near here, (and that car does not hang about) when I was passed by a tough sounding and obviously very fast Triumph of the 'Beastie' kind.  I saw it later but it was parked tight between other cars and I could not get a good photo, but it showed up at the Kiama Car Show yesterday and revealed it's secret, a Leyland V8 transplant from a P76; a derivative of the Rover (ex-Buick) lump.

So this one is for you James!
