Today's spot. Another TR (this time a lovely looking black 6, which I might have spotted and posted before), again in St Margarets, just by Richmond Bridge. It always gets my day off to a good start seeing other classics on the commute.

Some bugs, spotted these days.

Oporto, a 1970 1500...

In Lisbon, a 1974 1303 (hope the batery still with charge when the owner comes back...).  This one have the wheels from a 1302 "Wlord Champion" serie, a special série  wich 1302 commemorate the world record of a single model production ( before that, the "champion" was the Ford Model T with a little more tha 15millions produced)

Another bug from 1970, this time a less fresh 1300...

Hi, I was enquiring about Antonio Zilhão, who stayed at my house in England for a few weeks while he was racing in Formula Ford.  I was working for Footwork Arrows at the time, probably around 1995, and his family had a VW dealership in Lisbon, so I guess you must be related?

If so, tell him Chris said "Como vai?"

There was a rumour about a white roadster passing through the neighbourhood in any kind of weather.
I started to think it was an urban legend, sort of.
Recently, a friend told me a story on the roadster's owner he knows: "Now an elderly gentleman, he is a Morgan fan from his youth. Very active member of Morgan clubs he had a Plus 8 since new. For many years, he used the Morgan only in club activities and entered a few Concours d'élégance winning its class many times. When he got tired of cleaning and polishing, he decided to use the Morgan as often as he could, which made it his everyday transportation".
Last Friday evening, with abundant snow falling, I was driving home a modern hatchback, with air con, ABS, ASR and may be more devices I don't know when I crossed a white Morgan. I turned around and tried to follow the roadster, but lost it.  A few minutes after, I spotted the stationary Plus 8 and took a few pics.
No doubt, the man is the local hero.
