Street-parked supercars
Our old bosses of bosses on the words front, the legendary Mel Nichols, revels in the anecdote of when Nick Mason loaned him a GTO for a week and it was stree-parked in Clapham, London.
That was a very long time ago, however, and such free and easy use of great cars just doesn't seem to happen any more.
Except occasionally.
Here to kick off a thread on super cars (ancient or modern) that it is refreshing to see by the side of the road is one I found last night.
Actually, better make it the more modern stuff only or it will end up duplicating the "spotted" thread too much.

From the archives...
A strange spot I had done a few months ago at Oporto.

Until now I had spotted four times this recent Ferrari cabrio parked in this "bairro social", the portuguese name for a neighborhood of buildings, built by the governement for people with very low income ( and for lot of them, the only income is the governement montlhy paycheck) and who can afford to rent a house on open market prices.
I take this photo from my car and did not take the usual front, side, back and detail views, as the group you can see on the right looks like the kind of fellows that will not appreciat that...
Probably this was my strangest supercar spot ever...

Fresh catch..
Maybe its not a supercar, but just an expensive sports car but it catched my eye, parked outside a LIsbon Hotel this days....

Hardly a supercar, but there's often a metallic green '61 Thunderbird parked in the Marylebone High Street / Harley Street area.
Fresh cacth,
Spotted yesterday at Oporto at the same place of the Ferrari Cabrio. By the same reasons the pics is taken inside of the car....

A Ferrari spotted at Lisbon today., I'm not sure about the model, but probably it's a supercar and definitely it's (double) street-parked...

Not much of a real supercar, though, but a nice view from my office.
