This from our own classifieds. I guess the 8.32s will get preserved, but what future for the rest like this one?

I'd recommend going to the Greek island of Zakynthos. Amongst others, I saw about 5 or 6 Lada Nivas (that's 5 or 6 more than I've seen in England), some Lada Rivas, many Opel Kadetts (unfortunately all rotting), but what really was interesting was a Zastava 1100 being driven round.

That Lancia Delta reminds me that I spotted one under a tarpaulin in Keighley t'other day, must go and investigate. Also saw a very tidy Opel Monza recently, and an unmolested Fiesta XR2 (Mark 2, or was it really just a facelifted Mark 1?).

Oliver.

Most of them go to Africa, as you can see in the photo taken this year an Lisbon docks

You can see another one in the midle of Toyotas, Mitsubishis and a Range Rover in the same area of Lisbon docks, all ready to leave to a busy retirement plan somewhere in africa. Its a comun scene in portuguese docks last years.

I have been in Egipt recently and there are a (really )  lot of 504, most of them from Peugeot NIgeria factory but some came from europe. There are also some 505 too and thoose came from europe, some times they still have the country stiker on the rear and the egiptian number plate over the original one.

A tipical egiption streets...

Now back on topic and a 604 that seems to escape to that fate, spotted at Oporto last  winter
