On the up-side, at least the Murdoch outfit should be pretty proficient at listening in on the team radios!

Murdock Empire is wrecking the enjoyment of all those who have no desire to subscribe, including myself. Oh budgets!

Totally rubbish situation and again accounting for Rip Off Britain. Same mindset applies to this as with our government and taxation of motorists. We all p!ss & moan about it, but in the end we all pay up. People will not really give up their cars (users of this great site particularly), and the government knows it..!

Yes, I suppose, less viewers = less exposure for sponors = less sponsorship budget available to teams. Except! Bigger, audiences in other countries now, India, Korea, China, individually maybe a less wealthy demographic, but the real numbers make up for that. So, to the major multi-nationals maybe the British audience is no loger worth what it thinks it is. Sport is no longer in it, it is all about the money.

I always thought the BBC had the best coverage, and it would be a shame to lose that, but spare a thought for those less fortunate, in Australia. Apart from the local race and a couple of Asian GPs we get live coverage at midnight or early Monday morning, AND it's all on commercial TV.
