Renault 20 - no more wheels?
My Uncle has a Renault 20 Automatic 1984 model. These are pretty rare beasts now and every MOT brings a fresh round of problems with keeping the old girl on the road on a very tight budget. This year would seen to spell the end of the line as the Alloys need replacement. Despite searching, my uncle cannot locate steel wheels or alloys that are suitable for the 20 - has anyone had a similar experience or know of any solutions to this dilemma?
See if you can find a link on here to Martin Buckley's contact or even blogg, i would suggest he may well be the very best man for that particular enquirey
Thanks - will do
Thanks for the thanks Nick, let us know how you get on please.
The 20 uses fairly standard 4 stud 100 pcd wheels -from memory. There are plenty of rims that will fit -offset dependant.
I have a large selection of old Renault rims (I've a large collection of old Renaults!) so I'm sure i've something that will fit -or can point you at something.
Failing that- I might be interested in buying -if it comes to that...
What s the difference of the wheels of that particular Renault from having standard wheels? I mean is it really hard to find? Some renault parts are just way hard to find.
Did you ever get this sorted? is it now back on the road?
if you'll be able to realize a link on here to Martin Buckley's contact or perhaps blogg, i'd counsel he could be the highest man for that specific enquirey...
