4-door 4-seater saloon.
First all-new Alfa Romeo for many years, built in new factory near Naples, hence model title. Design inspired by Austrian-born Hruska, with no carry-over parts, but thoroughly up-to-date front drive layout. Fabulous fun handling, creditable performance, always crying out for more 'go'. Four-speed 'box at first, and 1186cc. UK imports started 1973, five speeds soon followed with 1286cc from 1977 to 1980, and 1350cc/1490cc from late 1978. Replaced by larder '33' in 1983.
