Basic platform for all the famous family, on 99ins wheelbase. Famous twin-cam Giulietta engine and five-speed all synchromesh 'box. Independent front end and well located beam axle at the rear, both coil sprung; four-wheel disc brakes fitted. Unmistakable body style, as introduced on the original Giulia in 1962, but two headlamps only on this version. 82bhp gave 100mph performance. Like most other Giulias, though, a real rust trap.
