ALLARD PALM BEACH
2/3-seater roadster, coupÈ.
Allard's unfortunate bid for the Austin-Healey market, using a K3-type tubular chassis with swing-axle front and coil-spring rigid-axle rear. Consul or Zephyr engines, debatable handling and roadholding. Restyled Mk II (1956-58; production 8 cars) has strut and torsion-bar front, optional De Dion rear, and choice of Zephyr or Jaguar power units; two built as coupÈ.
