AMC's large car for 1969, restyled and re-engineered, with 122ins wheelbase. Conventional, spacious, comfortable Detroit iron, evolved from sixties big Ramblers, In US, an option to full size cars from Ford or Chevrolet, but very little appeal in UK so almost unknown. Dropped following 1974 energy crisis, and concept not revived.
