AMC's chunky compact, with new structure, on 108ins wheelbase, with Hornet name culled from fifties Hudson. Basic car later drastically shortened and restyled to become Gremlin. As ever, utterly conventional layout, with no major sheetmetal style changes in eight years. Re-engineered into-Concord for 1978. In UK, listed only in 1975.
