ASTON MARTIN DBS/VANTAGE
4-seater 2-door saloon, estate car conversion.
Lengthened and widened DB6 platform, with de Dion rear suspension and crisp new styling by Bill Towns always intended for new V8 engine. DBS was therefore a stop-gap, but remarkably successful. 282bhp (Su carbs) or 325bhp (Webers), mostly with automatic transmission. Power steering still optional.
