2-door saloon, 4-door saloon, 2-door estate car.

Mercedes-designed four-stroke engine mounted longitudinally in adapted DKW F102 hull and still driving front wheels. Four-speed all-synchro gearbox, beam back axle, and torsion bars front and rear. 80 is almost exclusively estate, and Super 90 has 1770cc engine with twin-choke carb. Starting-point for a marque revival which has proved a major triumph of marketing and of creative engineering.
