Upmarket, extra power version of ordinary Austin 1300, same engine tune as MG1300 (70 net bhp). Ordinary car's handling, but better instrumentation/trim, and 96mph top speed. Also sold as Morris, but customers still preferred to buy MG instead. Also displaced, unsung, by Allegro.
