A bid for the Buick market with a 70mph saloon on a short, 10ft wheelbase and quite attractive styling: synchromesh on 1934 models. Semantics complex, as the 130ins wheelbase 1931 4-light saloon was also called a Whitehall, and the 1932 ten-footer in 'stipped' form carried the Carlton label later used on 1934 long 16s and 18s. A rear rarity for Austin connoisseurs.
