BENTLEY 4½-LITRE (1936-39)
Tourer, saloon, drophead coupé, numerous specials.
An extra 600cc and 16bhp to cope with heavier bodies: should match a 3½'s performance, but won't do it quite so smoothly... Overdrive-top gearbox (late '38) a concession to the autobahn era. Bodies lovely, especially the razor-edge jobs, but Park Ward's saloon (as near to a standard style as Bentley went) is also handsome.
