BMW 2000TI/2000tii

4-door 5-seater saloon.

Tuned version of 2000, using original medium-sized 4-door shell on 100.4ins wheelbase and same all-independent suspension. Rectangular headlamps for indetification. TI had twin dual-choke carbs and 120bhp, Tii Kugelfischer fuel injection and 130bhp - exactly the same units as in smaller bodied 2002 derivatives. For UK only, the Frazer Nash-BMW was a 2002TI with different badging and extra equipment, sold through bMW dealer network. Like other 200s, superseded by 5-series cars in 1972; as performance cars, always overshadowed by 2002 family
