Triumph Herald chassis with Spitfire-tune twin-carb engine (1300cc from spring 1967) and the Spitfire's front disc brakes. Glass fibre body shells but Herald steel doors and scuttle; the GT4S, from '64, has quad headlights, opening boot and greater headroom. Main attractions are rarity and ease of parts supply.
