A best seller of its day, with a well-engineered car; unitary construction, coils instead of the 1800's transverse springs at the front, and rather a lot of bulk for a 1500. The regular 60bhp alloy-head unit gives 75mph, while the 75bhp TS saloons (introduced for '56) are good for the low 90s. Light restyling for 1959.
