The basic DAF (early 600cc version - first seen 1958 - barely made the British market) with air-cooled flat-twin engine and infinitely variable, stepless V-belt drive to rear wheels - you just select forward or reverse and go. The answer to the clueless auntís prayer, though there arenít really enough brakes even for 60mph. Early ones are rare. Square-roof Daffodil from '63, improved and more powerful 33 from í67.
