The marriage of Edward Turner's splendid V8 to Mk II Jaguar hull and automatic 'box. Manual rare, and available only from early '67. 1967-69 V8-250 models have slimline bumpers, but not the other austerities of late-model Jaguars Plus: that engine. Minus: the usual Mk II corrosion problems. Good ones worth keeping.
