Badge-engineered derivative of Jaguar XJ12, complete with magnificent light-alloy V12 engine and 300bhp (net) at first, all with automatic transmission. Structure and style exactly as Sovereign/XJ6, except that Vanden Plas version for 1973 had 4ins longer wheelbase. Technically as good as any Mercedes-Benz, pity about the quality.
