Modern for its day, with square-dimensioned engine, thermostatic radiator shutters, synchromesh, electrically-welded frame, and transverse-leaf ifs. Usual choice of wheelbases but no brake servo and a depressing 5.7 axle ratio on standard saloons. Sports models have D8 type valve gear and should be quite fast on 68bhp.
