The true replacement for the legendary 246GT/GTS Dinos, announced two years after Bertone 2+2 model. Same chassis/uspension as 246GT range, with new V8 four-cam engine and with stunning Pininfarina styled body built by Scagliette. Couple only at first, with some GRP panels, but all-steel from spring 1977 - spider introduced for 1978. Stunning combination of 'go' (155mph), 'stop', and roadholding. This model (never called 'Dino') replaced by Bosch-injected 308GTBi(GTSi for 1981. A real purist's Ferrari.
